Fishing

Muskie, Walleye, Largemouth Bass,

Bluegill...

And the list goes on. Rice Lake is densely populated—with fish! The shallow depths of Rice Lake once made it an abundant producer of wild rice, but now it's a fishing hot spot. There are more fish per acre than any other lake in Ontario. The shallow weedbeds provide a nutrient-rich environment where panfish thrive, luring in the larger species. With year round fishing for panfish there's endless fun to be had.
